<P>The Standard does not specify whether the initialization from
<TT>{}</TT> that is done for omitted initializers in aggregate
initialization is direct or copy initialization. There is divergence
among implementations.</P>

<P>This issue is resolved by the resolution of
<A HREF="1630.html">issue 1630</A>.</P>

<P>CWG agreed that copy initialization should be used; paragraph
7 should have wording similar to paragraph 2.  See also
